Note: Each class will offer live interaction with the teacher and fellow students on Thursday nights. If a student is unable to attend on any given Thursday, the class will be available online to view afterwards.

Have you ever thought about how to engage in Gospel ministry with Native American people around you? This four-session class will have a different topic each week and will help equip you to become a better neighbor to native people. 

The "How God Talks" class will encourage and instruct how God speaks to His sheep today as in the days of old. 

Every culture in the world venerates wisdom and the quest to gain it. Defining wisdom has also been a part of that quest. The word essentially means the “realm of wise”. A parallel example would be the word, “kingdom”, which means “the realm of the king”. In the course we will explore the origins of wisdom, the person and voice of wisdom, the problem with wisdom, and wisdom for the asking. 

Jim began as the Associate Pastor at Country Faith Church in 1999. In 2016 Jim, Laura, and a team of volunteers planted Thriving Life Church in Erskine, MN where he is currently the Sr. Pastor. His role with CFC has transitioned from pastoral to apostolic. Jim will work out of TLC, working alongside and being a key extension of CFC’s vision for church planting. He will serve as our “Church Planting Overseer” and the Northern hub of TrueBridge. In this role he leads The Forge ministry training school and builds and leads a church planting team from CFC and TLC. Jim and his wife, Laura, were married in 1979 and have been blessed with two sons and 10 grandchildren.
